Research shows individuals who use their Strengths are more confident, motivated and better problem solvers. When you know what it is that energises you (your strengths) you can consciously use those energisers more often. If creativity is your strength you can look for opportunities to get creative more in your tasks rather than doing them how you always have. If collaboration is your strength build it into your tasks by working more with stakeholders rather than working independently. The result will be you get that buzz that you get when you have a great day at work more often.
When a team know their strengths they have a bank of Strengths they can use as resources. As managers, when assigning tasks, you can assign those to the individuals who you know have what they need to do the task. Set your team up to succeed! If one of your team is struggling buddy them up with someone who has the strengths which will support them in overcoming their challenge.
Get conscious about optimising your team member's unique strengths!
The first stage of the process is completing a Strengthscope assessment. Strengthscope is an online Strengths tool which is backed by the British Psychological Society. The assessment will populate your very own Strengths wheel, you will receive a full Strengthscope report before the group debrief session.
In the second part of the process you will take part in a 2-hour group debrief via Zoom with an accredited Strengthscope Master who will, in a safe environment where you will be coached through how to optimise your strengths working with other attendees to apply your strengths to your role, problem-solving and identifying true life opportunities to stretch your strengths.
You will take away an action plan to continue to optimise your strengths after the debrief session and with access to an eResource library of documents to support you in further embedding Strengths within your organisation.

Initial workshop to address team’s purpose and objectives. Identifying opportunities to stretch team strengths and mitigating risks. Followed by quarterly calls to reflect on the previous quarter's achievements and the use of strengths, planning the next quarter’s objectives and how strengths will support. Opportunity to celebrate success and refocus strategy.
